What is Hyype?
Hyype is a community-based app that provides real-time information about different places such as bars, restaurants, venues, and cafes. Users can view short videos called "Glimpses" uploaded by other users to get an idea of the vibe of a particular place. The app also allows users to search for places in their area of interest and quickly view Glimpses from different places around town.
1. Glimpses are short videos associated with a place (bar, restaurant, venue, cafe) where a user can have a quick glimpse of what's the vibe like in the specific place.
2. Once you start watching Glimpses from a Place, swipe up to move to the next place and quickly view Glimpses from different places around town.
3. The user can view multiple Glimpses from the same place in order to have a better understanding of what's happening.
4. When you are out, upload a Glimpse through the Hyype camera, share the current vibe and help other Hyype users plan their night out.
5. Some Glimpses are within the last 2 hours and some are from the same day previous week in order to get an idea of what's about to happen later the same day.
6. Through the Hyype map you can search for places in the area of your interest.
