Superstar Hockey for Pc

The controls and game are simple and fun. I only have 2 changes that I would make for this game. The packs and player’s rarity. It goes from blue a yellow another yellow and it is very confusing. There needs to be an update that makes it go from default bronze silver gold plat then the app. The last change is a multiplayer feature where you would be able to add friends and play 1v1 them. This multiplayer aspect of the game would expand your market bc players would want to invite their friends. Finally it would give the game some friendly competition which makes the game more addicting.

In the start it begins quite alright, but after five games it becomes incredibly difficult. I had the game for a full week before uninstalling it because I couldn’t go on the app without getting off annoyed. The first is that the controls are awful, it’s one movement button and that’s it. Checking in this game is awful as well, to do that you let go of the button. It’s difficult to aim and takes too long to use. The opponent is an ai that goes too challenging too quickly. On my second day of playing the game I lost 8-0, I couldn’t aim which is my fault entirely, and using the check was so difficult that I couldn’t defend, the opponent also did move which allowed them to score basically automatically. I think the game could fix the mistakes I mentioned by having instead a check button (along with a shoot and pass buttons) and having an online multiplayer with rankings to make the game more friendly to new players.

I thought I liked this game. I thought I loved this game. I was doing decently well - had a couple games scoring 5+ goals and had a decent W/L. Then something changed and I went on a 5 game lose streak without scoring a single goal. By the end of a 10 game stretch, I was 2-8. No idea what changed, I certainly didn’t. It’s as if the game thought I was having too much fun and decided to change that for me. Also, the ads are insane. It’s fine for some games to have a couple ads for some benefits but every single thing requires an ad to work. They even have a “free daily items” section but you need to watch 8 ads to claim everything. Absolutely ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Edit: Have now gone on an even worse losing streak. It’s very clear that I am playing against bots and the matches are stacked against me. I have deleted the game - just not fun knowing you aren’t supposed to win.

Fun game to start out but it has tons of issues that make this game more frustrating than anything. 1. No way to differentiate between a shot and a pass 2. No way to aim a shot or a pass 3. Matching is only with bots, not real players, causing suspiciously long losing streaks followed by periods of easy matches. 4. Unbalanced AI, when you do play bots, the “talent” of your players (minus the one you control) and the AI’s are completely independent of the stats that are associated with the player. This causes the a lopsided ai performance, typically to the other teams favor. (This is especially an issue for the goal tenders) 5. Bugs (assuming they really are bugs) too many cases of the puck going through my players or getting randomly dropped, also cases of my players just randomly stopping. 6. No mechanic to change the player you control, unless the puck is in your possession the player you control can change seemingly at random. 7. (Not really an issue but would be a nice addition). Add ways to customize your team, or add more teams (like the two shown on the ad, or one to go with the logo that appears when you forfeit). At the end of the day this game can be fun but there are too many negative design choices to make this a fun game long term.
