What is Treecard?
Treecard is a wooden Mastercard® that helps reforest the planet as you spend. 80% of the profits go to reforestation and climate investments, and it is powered by Ecosia, a trusted search engine used by 20 million people worldwide. With Treecard, you can plant trees with your purchases and steps, and earn rewards for your efforts. The card is made from sustainably sourced cherry wood, which captures carbon, and is accepted everywhere that Mastercard® is accepted.
1. - We can produce 300,000+ cards from just one sustainably sourced cherry tree (which means it's more sustainable to use wood than recycled plastic for the card exterior).
2. The Treecard® Mastercard® Debit Card is issued by Sutton Bank, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Mastercard International Incorporated.
3. - Each Treecard has a unique wooden grain and is made from sustainably sourced cherry wood.
4. - No fees: we don’t charge any monthly fees, loading fees, foreign currency fees, ATM withdrawal or balance inquiry fees, customer support fees, or inactivity fees.
5. - Connects seamlessly with your existing bank - no need to switch banks to use Treecard.
6. - Our wooden cards literally capture carbon (the wooden material captures carbon as it sits in your wallet).
