Install MD Widgets - Countdown widget app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using MD Widgets on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MD Widgets"
- The search will reveal the MD Widgets - Countdown widget app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once MD Widgets is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MD Widgets.
- Now enjoy MD Widgets on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native MD Widgets Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use MD Widgets,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "MD Widgets" » then Click "Install".
- MD Widgets - Countdown widget will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

I love the idea of the transparent background and it works almost perfectly from when I tested but the fact that you can have no name at the bottom of a widget can open up a door a lot more possibilities. There should be an option to make regular widgets like the ones in widgetsmith and still have no name under them. Then this will be the all in one perfect app, but still great app and definitely recommend!

Option to have a day and night is awesome!

I was looking through different transparent widgets and this is the only one that offered the night and day feauture without ruining the transparency. Kudos to the developers!
