What is Feyn?

Feyn is an app that allows users to create flashcards using their Apple Pencil and iPad. The app supports iOS features like multitasking, copying and pasting drawings, and synchronization between devices using iCloud drive. Feyn uses spaced repetition to help users learn and memorize new concepts efficiently.

Software Features and Description

1. We support iOS features like multitasking for seamlessly creating new notes, and copying and pasting drawings between the iOS Notes app and Feyn to easily convert your lecture notes into cards.

2. Open up a book on your iPad and comfortably create cards of the most important concepts right there using your Apple Pencil.

3. The cards are phone-sized so that you can then take them on the go and review them on your phone! Their size also makes them easy to write while multi-tasking on your iPad.

4. Taking your own notes by hand and spaced-repetition are the best way to learn new concepts, and with Feyn you can do just that.

5. The app will ask you to review cards depending on how well you do remembering them, cards you miss will be asked more often, and cards you get right less often.

6. The notes will automatically synchronize between your devices using your iCloud drive.

7. Feyn uses spaced repetition to aid in learning.

Install Feyn - Flashcards app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Feyn on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Feyn"
The search will reveal the Feyn - Flashcards app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Feyn is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Feyn.
Now enjoy Feyn on PC.

Simply handwritten flash cards

Has the feature I need, which is simply a hand written flash card that can be used when reading. Obviously in early stages, but essential idea is there. Main things I would need are: Folders, export to anki, and pinch and zoom.
Lots of potential

I really like the simplicity and look of the app so far. The SRS system works pretty well and the filters are nice. However I would like to be able to group the flash cards. I am able to tag and filter them, but it would be more convenient if I would be able to group cards together and label them (ie. Earth Science-Water Cycle or something). It would also make the interface less clustered looking if the cards were ‘stacked together’ in groups.
Import function!

This app is exactly what I was looking for, however I like to create my cards using Procreate and currently there is no way to import cards from anywhere else. An import function would be great for this app! Also, I struggled to write information down due to the lack of a zoom feature while creating cards. Overall, this app is amazing for a start up!

Great concept. This app has a lot of potential. The biggest issues I have are that you can’t practice your cards again once you’ve already checked them off. Also, like other reviewers said, you have no say in the order of the cards or anything like that. Lastly, it would be so helpful if you could zoom in on the cards while writing. Would love to see some updates!!
