What is SoCo COVID-19 Check?
The Sonoma County Department of Health has developed an app that allows Sonoma County residents to self-assess symptoms associated with COVID-19 each day before going to work. The app is designed to help protect residents in the workplace and the community, and to help reopen the county in a responsible way. The app has two parts: a resident survey and a news feed. The survey asks a few questions about symptoms and contact with those who might have the disease, and provides specific recommendations based on Sonoma County Public Health guidelines. The news feed provides up-to-date local information from trusted sources about the Coronavirus disease and its impact in Sonoma County, California.
1. Sonoma County’s Department of Health is asking Sonoma County residents to self-assess symptoms associated with COVID-19 each day in a survey that takes less than one minute.
2. The app is intended for anyone in the general public, citizens of Sonoma County determine if they may have symptoms related to COVID-19 before going to work.
3. And then get specific recommendations based on the Sonoma County Public Health guidelines, such as to practice social distancing, talk to a doctor, or return to work.
4. This app is for the benefit of Sonoma County residents and health officials only and no information will be used or shared for any commercial purposes.
5. Provides up-to-date local information from trusted sources about the Coronavirus disease and its impact in Sonoma County, California.
6. Your participation will help us reopen the County in a responsible way as we work to revitalize our economy and mitigate risk.
