What is Lost Lands 1? Lost Lands: Dark Overlord is an adventurous hidden object game-quest with puzzles and mini-games that takes the player on a journey to the Lost Lands, a stunning fantasy world full of unknown corners and mysterious inhabitants. The game follows a young mother who must find a way to another world to save her son who was carried off by a creature through a portal. Loving it but

I am loving the latest release by five-bn. Yay!! The only issue that I am having is that there was no option to customize or choose my difficulty of play. Maybe it is because I am still playing the free option? So it has me playing on the highest difficulty level, not by my choice. The hints are limited (only 5 of them - I have used 2 after a good hour and a half of play), the map option does not show you where actions of interest are (but you can teleport). Your character is the same from the legends of the app game but the story line is new. So I do not know if the lack of customization is a glitch (I have a feeling it is). I am holding off on buying the game because I do not want to redownload when it gets fixed. But the game does rock as all five- bn games do!!!!!

I played all six the app Lands games and bought the bonus chapters. The games are cute and not too repetitive (although you’re always missing some key or tile at first). I liked the soft background music, the puzzles and the story. Soothing and nearly always at your own pace. The bonus chapters will show you familiar settings from the story but with an angle. They complement the main story. The thing I liked the most is that sometimes you have to go all the way back to use an item or you find an item early that you can’t use until much later. Unlike many games that are “done” with a location rather soon, the whole big map could be where you need to look.

I just found this game and I am so glad. I’ve been playing similar games by another developer who is a bit money hungry. With the others you have to either pay to unlock the game or use energy points that regenerate very slowly (but of course you can pay for them). This game has the same great adventure style and puzzles and the only thing you have to earn is hints. You start off with 5 free and if you need more you have to pay for them. However if you just play the game and figure it out for yourself it’s completely free. I highly recommend. Will be checking out the others by them after I complete this one.

Oct 2021. I’m not sure how the developer can offer a free game of this quality, no ads, I didn’t need to buy any coins, and I didn’t use any online walk through. I used 2-3 hints which were free, and didn’t give anything away, just pointed to the right place to look. The HOPs are not just hide and seek but interactive, you need an object to get another object, etc. The overall story is pretty, no real horror or blood and guts. The mini games and puzzles are just challenging enough to be fun, and they are varied, not monotonous. Excellent game of its genre, I plan to play all 7 in the series!
