Software Features and Description

1. By reading the chip in your identity document, ReadID Ready can verify your document is an authentic identity document.

2. ReadID Ready is an application for mobile identity document verification.

3. To get access to the chip in your identity document, the app will first scan the so-called Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) of your identity document since this contains the password to get access to the chip.

4. You can only use ReadID Ready when a third party wants to verify your identity.

5. The verification results will be shared with the organisation that asked you to use ReadID Ready.

6. We process your personal information on behalf of the organisation that asked you to use ReadID Ready.

7. You will receive a request and instructions (with a QR code and/or link) to do this.

Install ReadID Ready app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using ReadID Ready on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "ReadID Ready"
The search will reveal the ReadID Ready app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once ReadID Ready is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including ReadID Ready.
Now enjoy ReadID Ready on PC.
