Everything about this game is absolutely amazing! The story line is so emotional. The entire game is amazing. Worth the money 110%. But make sure you pay good attention to the story line at the beginning I didn’t pay attention because I thought was un important but it is VERY in order to experience it all. This game is the best “escape” game I’ve ever played, I would go as far to say one of the best games I’ve ever played in the app entire life! there is only one single thing that could be fixed.. due to having to by hints most of the time, if you are not in the right place it uses the hint to show you to go to a different room… which is a waste of a hint in the app opinion. It would better if it directed you to the correct room and then shows you the actual hint!

I’m a big fan of games like Samarost, Botanicula, and the Meridian chapters, but I think this is the best point and click adventure game ever! It checks all the boxes...beautiful graphics, great storyline, challenging (but not impossible) games and tasks, long enough that you get your money’s worth but not so long that you get bored with it....it’s just the greatest. I’ve played it three times now over the course of a year and I’ve enjoyed it every time. Never had a problem with it freezing or found any glitches.

Don’t normally write reviews, but this game is amazing! Very sweet and sometimes sad story, I highly recommend this game. What happened to this brilliant developer, I miss your games. I miss all of your games. Can someone tell me what happened? HELP…game won’t let me use hints, I’ve tried everything and I just bought them, 4.99. Not buying again. Can someone please HELP

It takes a second to get used to how the game works (or it did for me). I nearly deleted it, but ended up buying all the levels instead. The entire game is basically a hidden object puzzle with scattered other puzzle games throughout. The animation is really interesting too…both the animation and the story. I like the game a lot so far. It can be pretty frustrating at times, but all games can be…especially good ones. If you like HOPs, at least download the trial. Like I said, it does take some getting used to. Definitely not what I was expecting from Artifex Mundi. Although, I’d like to see some of the usual AM/Big fish type games with this kind of animation and storyline in the future. the app one complaint/suggestion: Please, please, please get rid of the swiping to go to different rooms feature. Or at least create an option to turn it off. I’m not sure if it’s just the app iPad, but it’s always acting like I’ve swiped when I haven’t. I end up going back and forth between rooms a lot when I’m trying to do something else. It seems like it’s too easy for the swipe to be activated and interfere with other actions, searching and tapping. Sometimes it even sends me into the next room when I’m tapping nowhere near it, completely on the other side of the screen. It’s not that big of a deal, but it’d be nice to be able to turn it off. Otherwise, really cool game! Great job! I’m playing on an 8th generation iPad, running iOS 14.5.1, with no issues so far. *Update: Finished just now. It kind of ended abruptly. On top of being a sad story, it’s pretty short. I was sad that it had ended already. Technically, it’s probably about the same length of gameplay as AM’s other games, but without any bonus levels. I’d still recommend it to HOP/puzzle fans. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to. It was a refreshing change of pace. Hopefully they’ll make more like this one.
