Graphics beautiful and modern. Interesting story but it’s been done before. No technical glitches other than I’m playing on iPad and half the time I tried dragging an inventory item to a scene location the game would minimize on my screen. My biggest frustration was the 40 second skip recharge for mini puzzles. And that was the FAST option. Why am I paying to own a product then have to sit and do nothing for 40 seconds when I don’t feel like solving a particular puzzle just because the game manufacturer is trying to desperately “add padding” to the game length of a very short game?

Really not worth the $6.99 price tag. Will think twice before buying another game from this developer. Way too short and clunky.

This game conveys a true crime/mystery theme, with suspenseful twists along the way, as you are blamed for a crime you did not commit, resulting in being constantly on the run from the authorities. I love that the storyline is devoid of sinister supernatural forces, which are pervasive throughout most HOAs. Your search for your disappeared loved one takes you through the gritty backstreets of Paris, from along the dimly lit harbor, to the confines of a remotely located warehouse, to a dive into an underwater hideaway, through a channel of seedy underground tunnels, and to the final place of the story's climax. This frequent change of scenery renders a refreshing feel to exploration. The characters are compelling, as they inject raw emotions into the storyline. With each character you meet, you will need to perform a service for them to receive an item or information in return. The graphics are realistically drawn, with sharp, clear details. The environments possess beautiful, rich colors that are aesthetically appealing. There are custom settings, as well as three other choices. Inventory usage is old-school; items do not require assembly. The map teleports to desired locations; and depending on your mode of difficulty, immediate objectives are indicated. The all- in-one Journal records light story progression as well as the status of the collectibles and game statistics. There are No HOS in this game. That is fine by me. The puzzles are varied and range from easy to medium difficulty. They are sometimes multi-tiered, with three levels to the same puzzle. I endured some trial and error trying to catch the fish with the fishing line at the harbor. I found the puzzles to be very entertaining. You collect some easily seen elephants but not in all the scenes. The game felt outdated, as you can tell from some of the aforementioned comments. There was nothing novel or unique to set this game apart from more sophisticated games. My stats showed that my total playtime clocked out at about a mere 2.5 hours, and I took my time with some of the puzzles. Be apprised that there is no bonus chapter to add on additional gameplay. The extremely short playtime does not justify the $7 price tag. Even though I enjoyed both the storyline and the puzzles, I cannot overlook the brevity of the game. Therefore, my true rating of 3.5 stars is lowered to a final rating of three stars. Thank you to the developers for promptly issuing an update to fix the glitch.
