Install Block Buddy Pro app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Block Buddy Pro"
The search will reveal the Block Buddy Pro app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Block Buddy Pro is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Block Buddy Pro.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Block Buddy Pro,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Block Buddy Pro" » then Click "Install".
- Block Buddy Pro will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- Images available offline for remote or austere environments

- Comprehensive content that can replace the need for a block course

- Difficult to quickly access the lessons

- Buggy interfaces on Google Chrome browser and Google Play app

- Users may get kicked to the login screen instead of accessing the material quickly

Buggy, poor integration of downloadable content

The content is excellent, no complaints there. The downside is that its nearly impossible to quickly access (wasn’t a problem with the first app). Both my Google Chrome browser at home and my google play app exhibit buggy interfaces. I routinely get kicked to the log in screen instead when I click on the “lessons.” I use this app as a means to quickly review a the app (anatomy, dosing, etc.) and often am looking to access the material very quickly. So far this “new” app has been a major disappointment. If you have a subscription you ought to be able to select an “Download all” option and have the material immediately accessible without an internet connection. In my opinion this app was released way too early (before all the interface kinks could be worked out). A for content, C- for implementation; needs a lot of IT work

this app is, amazingly, even better than the original the app Buddy. More extensive ultrasound images, more POCUS with ultrasound images and excellent explanations. And now images available offline for remote or austere environments. Absolutely ESSENTIAL for both students and practicing anesthesia practitioners.

There is no other app like it ! The images are very professional and the content is so comprehensive. You don’t even need a the app course if you have this app !

This is a great app. I used the app buddy throughout my training and I just got the pro version and it is worth every penny. Wonderful clinical tool.
