Install Bronco BEAM app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Bronco BEAM on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Bronco BEAM"
- The search will reveal the Bronco BEAM app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Bronco BEAM is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Bronco BEAM.
- Now enjoy Bronco BEAM on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Bronco BEAM,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Bronco BEAM" » then Click "Install".
- Bronco BEAM will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This app is supposed to notify you when there’s free food/leftovers on campus. Two weeks ago, the app was featured on local news—I downloaded it, allowed full access to my location. In the past two weeks there have been three separate occasions that offered free food or snacks (these were on the quad), but I was never notified of these. I think the app managers/devs need to be more vigilant of free food opportunities, or at least must allow users to publish free food alerts.
This app isn’t really ideal. I understand it’s probably part of a programming project, but it isn’t exactly efficient—in terms of food alerts, a twitter account might be better as opposed to a separate app, simply because location tracking drains the phone battery.
