What is Song Meter Configurator?
This app is designed to configure and monitor the status of Wildlife Acoustics Song Meter Mini, Mini Bat, and Micro recorders. These recorders are used by researchers to record bats, birds, frogs, and other vocal wildlife. The app allows users to change settings and schedule recordings wirelessly via Bluetooth on their mobile devices. It also automatically sends recorder status to the app via Bluetooth and uses the mobile device to set date, time, time zone, and location.

3. • Mini Bat: Optional microphone attachment allows you to record birds, frogs and other wildlife when you’re not recording bats.
4. This app allows you to configure and check the status of Wildlife Acoustics Song Meter Mini, Mini Bat, and Micro recorders.
5. • Mini Bat: Record up to 30 ten-hour nights with 4 AA batteries or 90 ten-hour nights with 18650 lithium batteries (using an available lid/battery holder).
6. • Mini: Record up to 215 hours scheduled over months with 4 AA batteries or up to 1,100 hours with 18650 lithium-ion batteries (using an available lid/battery holder).
7. • Uses your mobile device to set date, time, time zone and location.
