Starmate for Pc

I downloaded this game quite a while ago. Far back enough to where the game wasn’t updated to have the new layout and use food items. The previous version was much better in my opinion. It was far simpler and it wasn’t an absolute hassle to complete anything. The new layout in the this app room confused me so much, the original was much better showing the evolution line and you could easily see the previous forms of the Starmates you had collected. The food items are obnoxious as well. It was much better just having to get a certain amount of stardust (I believe that’s what it was called) in order to level up a this app. The medallions are just a pain. Why do we have to collect them just to evolve our STs? It’s a pain and makes collecting so much harder. While I understand the idea of making it harder in order to keep people playing longer it just drove me away from the game. The only way to get a medallion is through comets and they are completely over shadowed by useless furniture. I loved this game and I played it quite a bit, but free the update I’ve barely wanted to touch the game ever again. It’s sad that such a great game had to be changed in such a way. Though this is my opinion and people may disagree.

I recently got this game for a 12 hour plane trip back home, when I first played it I played it a lot, but recently, a single level was stumping me, and I used up all my lives still not able to get passed it, I loved the challenge so I waited, but when I gone back no lives were refilled, soon I got tied up in reality and couldn’t get on my phone for a while ( unpacking ) and just a few moments ago I checked to see that I only got one life, and I realized I got a friend request, I accepted it, and it got rid of my life! I tried to enter the level but wouldn’t let me cause I had no lives, but at the time, I had upgraded one of my characters, so when I soft reseted, for a few minutes the time gone back and it became 25:00 again, I did it again and it was 29:00, of corse, it gone back to the original time, but it gone back to the original amount of stardust too! And my character was still at the level it was at once I leveled it up, I love the game, it gives me the cuteness and adventure I need in my day, but the bugs are annoying sometimes, really hope you fix it soon!

Don't get me wrong, I love this game. The characters are adorable, the gameplay is unique, and I love the overall feel of the game. What makes this four stars rather than five, is the medal system. I understand if all the reviews for this game are talking about how the medal system has ruined the game, but personally, I have a difficult time with it. I'll get new starmates, I'll max them out, and I won't be able to evolve them. Another thing I want to mention, for some reason, when I start a round, the voice will get lower. When it says, "go," the audio becomes normal. I don't know if it's just me, or others experience this too. Other than that, I do like the dorm system. I enjoy watching their interactions with specific starmates, I think it's adorable. The idea of decorating the room is great. It took me some time, but I was able to navigate the controls (ie: switching up the party, leveling up my starmates, etc). Overall, I love this game. It makes me quite frustrated that I can't evolve my starmates and to see others are frustrated about it too. Can the rates of medals be increased in meteors, purchased with gems or emeralds, or something better? I know that it would be upsetting to remove it in general, so I hope the game will improve in the near future.

This game is fantastic! It’s adorable and addicting! The only negative is the cost of some things and the rarity of getting any star shards or crystals in comets. I’m on a 3-star streak and yet I haven’t gotten any crystals since the first world really, and I rarely get star shards. It’s too expensive to level up starmates without the shards and the shards are already expensive and rare. I think a fair-priced option to buy star shards in the shop would be really nice. And more crystals for what you're paying...after all the crystals can only be used for one thing and that dragon is only available in the more expensive rescue. You’re lucky to get anything decent in the less expensive rescue, most of the furniture I get are copies. I wish I could sell them, that would be nice too.
