Install Factory - Modular Synthesizer app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Factory on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Factory"
The search will reveal the Factory - Modular Synthesizer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Factory is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Factory.
Now enjoy Factory on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Factory,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Factory" » then Click "Install".
- Factory - Modular Synthesizer will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

CC assignments

This would be my favorite synth if not for one thing: In live performance the CC assign pops up every time I hold a control to SLOWLY modulate parameters. And then the control freezes. So I have to keep put my finger on the control again and again and then move it fast to get it to work right. Some settings are delicate especially morph settings. So I don’t get the smooth changes I want. It makes gradual morphing or mixing impossible. This is pretty close to a deal breaker for me. I’ve written SugarBytes and asked them to provide a “CC ASSIGN OFF” switch in the preferences next to the CC PRESET ISOLATE option. It would be so useful. They said they would add it in an update which I’ve anxiously awaited. But there have been several updates and no improvement on this issue. I hate to complain, considering this is otherwise a perfect synth :( Well, maybe some optional skins would be nice too but that’s not really holding things up. The CC assign IS though.

First of all it’s an Audio Unit. Do you know what the means? Multiple instances. It’s the sound I was looking for, organic but not cheesy. The Matrix is awesome just loving the whole experience. You can load your own samples into it and get glitchy. Pull the trigger buy it. Sugarbytes rarely, rarely does the half price thing so you may be waiting a while to have the full functionality. It’s a five.

Stuff like this is what I live for. Great sounds, great interface. X-mas in May! This is what I think genius looks and sounds like. Not the only great synth, but definitely one of them. Can't stop grinning...
