I grew up reading the the app books, also enjoyed the animated tv series, even the movie was fun. Saying that, I saw this game and decided to give it a go. It’s fun, overall, but some of the puzzle challenges are so difficult you either have to break down and purchase one of their coin packs, or you have to create “bombers” using items found along the way. You have x number of moves per challenge, and too often it got down to finding one more plane or train or whatever, onl6 to get one after the very last move, so if you want to use it and complete the level it’s going to cost 750 coins. Or, you can always just replay the level for the 15th time. I made it through the first two game levels but can’t go further, because I missed picking up something on one or more of the puzzles. I think if you’re able to complete all the challenges on a level you should be able to go to the next level. Also, I’m sure some people would think it is helpful, but I find it irritating that if you don’t do a gem swap within a second or two, it’ll start hinting at ones to swap, which is distracting to say the least, and also not usually the best option. One last problem, my iPad would be unresponsive after I would stop playing, I’d have to shut down the iPad and reopen it to get it to respond. Removing the game from my iPad for those reasons.

Short version, the game is fun and worth the download with NO ADS. I’m on stage 50 something and my I only have a few complaints that drops of that 5th Star. PERSONALLY I don’t move forward until I have all three Stars from the current stage. 1) I don’t like having to win the whole stage with all 3 stars at the same time. Why not just let me work towards getting that one star that was missing and POSSIBLY the main objective again. It’s especially annoying on stages where the colors fall in a set way. Some layouts MUST have a set drop pattern because they are so restricted. It’s still annoying finding that specific way to play that stage. 2) They should really give currency away more often. I know they need to make money but my goodness. Each 3 star achievement should net some count. Well I’m falling asleep so I’m ending this here.

love this game a TON!! the storyline, objects (such as explosives/tools), and characters seem to stay very loyal to the original comics, which is probably my favorite part of the game. the graphics are crazy (for a mobile game), they really feel like a 3D render of the books. my only complaint would be that some levels can be pretty difficult. one took me up to half an hour to pass, and i just got the game today. HOWEVER, if you are good with perseverance and match three games, as well as a the app fan, i HIGHLY recommend this game. i would even go so far as to say this is just what the the app universe needed! if anybody who helped developed this game is reading this, THANK YOU!! really made my day when i found this game 👍

At first the idea seems somewhat novel and exciting for the app fans, except for lame copying and pasting of candy crush and toy blast. Based in Denmark, the company are extremely slow developers who can’t keep up with a basic player’s speed. Which makes the end games nearly impossible and utterly disappointing — because there are only 160 levels ... !? In reaching out to the company, Hergé - Moulinsart’s team from this app haven’t outsourced their messaging outside Denmark’s morning and afternoon hours. I caught them writing from the USA, and they had already closed shop for the day, as it was dinner time in Denmark ..... When I came back in the morning, they didn’t resolve the issue but instead tossed a few coins into an inactive account. You’ll notice instead of having staff to manage ongoing problems, they’ll respond to our messages with an email instead. WTH ...? The game only has 160 levels, which move incredibly slow. As the developers either paused here or are going out of business, this is a sad outcome.
