The old app was better

I was using the old app and saw that there was a new one, so I deleted the old and downloaded this new one and am probably going to switch back. The app doesn’t scroll smoothly, has a ton of old news prominently featured on the home page, and is not as customizable as they want to make it seem. I have tried to add favorite topics but it doesn’t change anything with what you see on the home page. I don’t like that I can’t scroll from story to story anymore either. You read one, then have to go back to the home page, look for the next headline, read that story, go back to the home page, etc. Sometimes I can’t even find all of the new stories from the day. There are headlines listed as local news but they are from other parts of the country, and you don’t realize that it isn’t a local story until halfway through the article. This is a horrible news app.

No Live broadcasting

Update- June 12, 2019- this app still not performing with the advertised changes. Can you add the live and repeating daily broadcast feature back to the old format???
The live news broadcasting is no longer available on this app. The old format would play the live new broadcasts, take you into the 9 am morning show and then repeat the morning news. The live feature would play afternoon, evening and 11 pm news which allowed viewer to see everything all day. This app only shows portions of coverage.
I wish they would return it to the previous format so we could watch all of the broadcasting.

If it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it

This app is horrible by far. There is always someone who thinks they can do it better, but not here. The set up is horrible. Who ever is supposed to be an editor even lacks editing. So many grammar errors. Do you not have SPELL CHECK?
It’s a complete turn off having to deal with this MESS you all have thrown together. Just put it back the way it was. Looking at all these negative comments and you are still stuck on stupid.

I enjoy this sight because I can keep in touch with by home town. I moved to Massachusetts several years ago and have family and friends in Toledo.
