Fun , but that paywall...

Game is fun. Break stuff , get bigger , beat up smaller the app to steal their energy and get even bigger still. Then there’s the not fun part, waiting for boxes to open in real time 3-6-9 hours for each box. Can win a few in between but eventually the cost to level up anything will start to go from 100 coins up to 5000+ and you can only win maybe a couple hundred if you take first place in a round. Boxes will get you a few coins now and then and sometimes you get lucky and can win double cards ( not coins because they want you starved for them so you’ll pay some real $$$) The other crap part is the tournaments where you have an overall score which is all the app individual scores added up, however if you are missing a monster that you haven’t won RANDOMLY from a box then it’s counted against you in the tournament. Basically if you only let’s say have 5 the app unlocked and someone else has 8 , then they will have a much higher score than you even if you’re a higher level. So you lose out on potential coins and rewards because you didn’t randomly unlock a new monster.
Money sink, gold too hard to acquire

Firstly, I will be honest with anyone reading this. I have spent money on this game. To date, I have purchased every discounted offer or value offer that has been presented. I have found the game to have lag that shows up from time to time while being in game or starting a game 10 seconds after it starts. This has been happening more and more frequently and it is extremely frustrating when all the other players and bots are ahead of you because of this. I am also finding it near impossible to break a score of 10,000 in any match with any monster. To have even found cheats available on line and I’m beginning to think these “hacks” are offering other people advantages that are effecting my enjoyment of this game. About the gold issue. I have sunk many hours in to this game. It takes over 20 hours of play and opening the chests to acquire just 20,000 gold. I’m at the point where, I need on average 50,000 gold to level up my abilities. I think I’m going to delete this game and never look back. You had a whale, but you didn’t sink the hook. And another thing to note, what is with the invisible lightning strikes? Randomly, I’ll get struck by some lightning and lose a bunch of power? Fix your busted game!
Was good, not now

I used to think this was a fun game, but now realize it’s not at all. Somehow, regardless of character and upgrades, every other player in the game can stomp and walk all over me from the first second of play. Not a single one I can attack at all. Rarely can I hit someone at all that I don’t get slammed to last place from first. So this is another dumb game that is pay to win it seems. Video games in general are headed towards the pile of ripoffs that everything is racing towards. Funny thing, I was getting ready to actually spend money on this game because that’s what I do once I find one I like. Not this waste of space and time. At least the other players are real or well coded AI. I’m discovering most real time games online totally are full of you know what and with no service or connection I’m able to play many that claim you play actual people. Once this gets exposed on a larger scale the poor you know what’s that lie and make trash games are gonna wonder how they went wrong. Simple answer GREED. Anyway giving 2 stars because it was good enough that I played daily for a good amount of time.
Fun but laggy

I like the game. It plays like Rampage + Katamari. There’s only 3 monster types, but the variation in abilities and skills is enough to not feel repetitive. It’s fun smashing things and deciding whether to go for the small things or big buildings or go for other players. The power-ups give the game that Mario Kart feel with the different items. Wish there were a blue shell kind of item though, since once you’re in last place, it’s impossible to catch up since everyone else is too big to attack. Although I like it, it’s impossible to enjoy with all the lag issues. I find myself hoping to get matched against bots rather than other players, because of how laggy it gets with other players. I’ll find myself rubber-banding around constantly, skills and items getting used without me pressing them, and you find yourself getting hit like 5 times before you can react because of the lag. It pretty much kills the game since you’re no longer in control of your character. Until the lag gets fixed, I can’t play it anymore since it’s more stress than fun unfortunately.
