Install Reeder 4 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Reeder 4 on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Reeder 4"
The search will reveal the Reeder 4 app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Reeder 4 is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Reeder 4.
Now enjoy Reeder 4 on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Reeder 4,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Reeder 4" » then Click "Install".
- Reeder 4 will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Unpopular opinion: This is a downgrade.

After buying this for $9.99 I instantly had buyer's remorse. Although it's wonderful to see this developer continue to work on the app, and the new featre-set is awesome, and the subtle animations are cool —I really dislike the aesthetic changes overall. For one, the neutral-themed theme is gone (so you're stuck with all-white or all-black if you don't like the multi-colored options). You also can no longer select any system font but are limited to San Francisco as your only sans-serif. The new icon's smaller "count" font is kind of tiny. The new views are really janky and unpolished, and almost contradict each other in their design. But for $9.99… I was hoping this would be more put-together.

I wish the the app website contained at least a little info about compatibility with self-hosted RSS reader apps (i.e. for Fever and Google APIs). I've tried Reader Self, Tiny Tiny RSS, and Fresh RSS and can't get any of them to work with this app. They all fail at authentication. I used Fever for the app 3 years ago and it worked just fine. Hopefully, this problem will be resolved, either through continuing development or documentation. But for those who don't mind using local RSS or third-parties, this app is by far the best.

I bought this version the SECOND I saw it was available. I did not look at the feature list or the reviews. I know if for some reason I didn't like it (spoiler alert: it's fine) I could keep using the app 3 per the author's note in the the app 3 app. The reality is, I bought it as a thank you to one of the few developers still making apps for SALE (not for subscription). You long earned this sale. Keep making major releases.
Love this app, just one nitpick

Version 3 supported a bunch of built-in services for sharing items. Version 4 does the sensible thing and just uses the system share sheet. This works great on iOS, but on the Mac there doesn't seem to be a good way to share items to Pinboard anymore (aside from some very poorly reviewed and overpriced apps that I have not tried.) I hope this gap gets filled soon, or I might have to have a go at filling it myself.
