1. To avoid addiction to digital gadgets and encouraged supervised screen time, I designed the Minimalist Flash Card App from ground up with none of the fancy music and graphics that plague many similar apps.

2. Having to think about packing the right book or learning gadget the next time you’re out with your child just seems to be another stressful baggage that might even slip your mind.

3. More alarmingly, multiple research have shown that unsupervised screen time impairs the development of their social skills.

4. At the same time, I conducted extensive research on fonts used by early childhood educators all over the world.

5. The app offers two types of training, (1) familiarization and (2) reinforcement, based on the fundamental principles of memory building and real-life experience.

6. The current font set the app uses is designed to mirror penmanship exercises that your child will be exposed to subsequently in school.

7. I understand that life is tough – you might have had a busy day in the office, hustled to make dinner, rushed to get laundry done.

8. This app was born out of my research and experimentation to find the best methods to give my son that special advantage.

9. This minimizes confusion and the need to relearn how alphabets and numbers look in later years.

10. As a parent, I understood the importance of giving my son a headstart in life.
