OH MY GOSH!!

I never leave reviews! NEVER! But I am so incredibly happy right now that I have to. I am 10 weeks pregnant today. I downloaded this app because I was poking around looking at dopplers to purchase and said “hey if this works, we don’t have to buy one”. I went into it thinking that it probably was fake, but I read all the reviews. I spent an entire hour messing around with it. I found my heart rate very clearly and easily as well as my fiancé’s. I decided to give up and went with the explanation that it was just too early. I went back on the app store and downloaded two $5 apps in hopes I would be able to hear my little one’s heartbeat. Still nothing. Three hours later, I laid down flat for bed and stuck my phone to my belly (just below my belly button) just to see and there was a very clear and beautiful heartbeat. I have never been so excited in my life. I’m not sure if the little one moved just right or what but it sure does work!! I even counted out the beats and it came in at 134 bpm. So excited!!! Don’t give up, it really does work!! :)

I’m 31 weeks pregnant and A high risk for preterm labor. I’v had a ton of complications so I am constantly worried about The baby. After reading the reviews I was hesitant about using it because I didn’t want to hear a heartbeat if my baby’s heart wasn’t beating. I took this to a doctors appointment and listened to the app on my phone and then the doctors Doppler and they sounded exactly a like and only worked in the same spot the Doppler picked up on the heart beat. I then proceeded when we got home to try it on both my husband and my daughter and did not hear a heartbeat on them other than their own. It did take me a minute to find it on mine at first and it wasn’t as strong as people said they were hearing it on theirs. Another good way of know it worked is that baby kicked it and you could hear it on the phone. I would say this app works well the only thing I don’t like is that it almost forces you to record it and I don’t want to record I just want to listen.

It works, i wanted to check and see for all the skeptics lol. I checked my pulse with my fingers, and then measured it with the app and the bpm matched. I’m just having a hard time finding the baby heartbeat but I’m still only 16 weeks and I remember the student doctor that was helping with their machine was having a hard time herself when she was looking for it so don’t be discouraged. Also- for those who say your couch, table, floor has a heartbeat this app picks up on a very specific pattern so if anything sounds like a beat it will amplify it. I was walking with bare feet while my husband was testing the app and it picked up the sound of my foot steps. You must be in a silent room with NO background noise. I really have not had the issues many of the people below have but my phone is brand new XS with a great mic, no water damage, etc. That might be apart of the problem some others have.
Update-I’m now 17 weeks and was able to find a baby heartbeat!

This app DOES work! Those who are saying they found beats in other parts of their body and on their husbands belly need to understand how the body works. It encourages you to first find your own heart beat so you can distinguish your own from the babies. I tried 4 times at first. I then found my own heart beat very slow. Found my husbands a bit faster and tried it on my 8 year old who had a faster heart beat then us adults. All hearts beats were three very distinct beats. I then found the babies and it was the fastest of all and the rhythm was right on what my daughters sounded like in the womb. I’m 15 weeks and felt the baby fluttering at the same time I heard muffling and would lose the beat. All of those indicators prove the theories of this being false with pre recorded beats out of the water. This worked, use it properly and try to find the beauty in it all. Sad people!
