It is very upsetting that I lost a lot of money and more than 10,000 rubies in summoning expecting that I will get Iori Orochi or Leona. But none of them showed up. Just a bunch of unwanted fighters showed up and I did not want them since most of them I already had.
At the app end I got frustrated and deleted the app game from my phone since I lost my money and lost all my rubies. I have nothing to play the app game with. I liked the app game a lot when I downloaded it but now what I see that it is another form of gambling where you actually win nothing.
Players should have the app choice to get whatever fighters they want using their money/ruby. If we take a chance, it’s a gamble. I wasted so much time and effort to gather all these rubies and I wasted them in 2 mins. I did not get what I want. I am frustrated and annoyed and regretting why I played the app game putting my a lot of time and effort. I should get something from the app game because I deserve that. Instead, I got frustration and regret. They should remove the app chance up system. It will make people to hate this game like I do now. I don’t want to put my money and time on a game where I might not win anything. I don’t want my family and friends to lose their money and time on a gamble like game and earn nothing but frustration and waste their valuable time. If I work on something, I should get something.

Grind fest battery drain

To stay even remotely competitive, you need to grind and spend all the app time. the app price of rubies (in-game currency) is absurd. Sure you get a guaranteed top tier unit after enough summons (random chance draws of characters) but that’s after spending hundreds of dollars’ worth of rubies. Never play this game if you won’t be able to charge it soon, as your battery will drop precipitously, even on the app lowest graphics settings.
the app gameplay itself is alright, but gets repetitive. It’s a side scroller beat-em-up with good graphics but sloppy controls. There have been numerous times where the app virtual joystick wouldn’t let me move at crucial moments. the app move priority is broken (in fighting games, that is where if two characters attack each other, which one causes damage). You can attack and have your opponent shrug it off, walk around, and attack through your attacks if they outlevel you. This eliminates the app ability to use skill and emphasizes stat checks over player ability. There are several great ports of KOF on here, some are free. Play this if you want, but keep in mind some places can’t be beaten without top tier characters which are expensive to obtain.
Also keep in mind this game is very... very... time demanding if you want to finish daily quests and keep a moderate pace.

Crashes On Story

I liked the app game, then I got to ‘95 arc. I can’t do anything else at this point as it keeps crashing. I’ll start a level then as the app level is loading it closes the app app. Based on what I’ve played so far, I’d give it at least 4 stars. Crystals are easy enough to earn, gameplay is simple and if you’re a KoF fan, you’ll love seeing the app moves of each character. But the app crashing doesn’t let me play any further. Once the app crashing stops, I’ll update it. Until then it’s literally unplayable for me.
Update: I hard reset my phone. Original story is in there but modified. So far the app grind for crystals isn’t bad, and they the app drop rate is decent. I think I’ve gotten a 5 star with every 10 draw I make.

For a free to play mobile game, this is an incredibly fun beat em up. There’s really fun characters and some cool alternate versions of them, a great soundtrack, lots to do, well designed gameplay, and impressive animations! Another thing I was very impressed by, was the app fact that this game is very fair and generous for a f2P game, can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciate that. Only things I’d suggest improving would be finding a way to make the app menus less confusing, and make the app dodge button bigger. I also don’t see the app appeal of the app auto button as why would I want the app game to play for me, but that one is just my opinion I suppose.
