What is Tapestry Journal?

The Tapestry app is a companion app for families and staff using the Tapestry online learning journal in their school, nursery, or at their childminders. The app is a pared-down version of the browser and requires access to a Tapestry account to use. It allows users to create, view, edit, and comment on observations, view and comment on Memos and Activities, log into their account quickly using a PIN or biometrics, and access and add to their child/children’s learning journal/s whilst offline.

Software Features and Description

1. The school/nursery/childminder that purchased the Tapestry account is in charge of the data that is added to and stored in Tapestry; what is added, how long it is kept for, and who can see it.

2. This is the companion app for the families and staff using the Tapestry online learning journal in their school, nursery, or at their childminders.

3. We at Tapestry only use the data you enter to provide, fix and improve the service.

4. You must have access to a Tapestry account in order to use this app.

5. We don’t use the data for marketing; we don’t share the data with others to do marketing.

6. The app is a pared-down version of the browser.

Install Tapestry Journal app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Tapestry Journal on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Tapestry Journal"
The search will reveal the Tapestry Journal app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Tapestry Journal is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Tapestry Journal.
Now enjoy Tapestry Journal on PC.
