What is Surge 5?

Surge is a web development and proxy utility designed for developers. It allows users to take over network connections, modify network requests and responses, forward network requests to other proxy servers, and intercept and save specific data of network requests and responses. Surge is highly configurable and supports a variety of features, including ad blocking, local DNS mapping, and HTTPS traffic decryption.

The best network sniffer ever on a phone

I've been using the app for iOS and the app for Mac for over a year. It's incredible. Superior to tools like Charles Proxy and Fiddler in many ways, and it can run entirely on your phone or tablet. (But if you want a desktop UI, too, you can connect the app for Mac as a companion. Best of both worlds.) The traffic capture is the best I've found for iOS - a combination of a local VPN server and a local proxy server that can intercept everything I've needed it to - with robust support for MITM SSL decryption. You can dig through captured requests & responses, complete with syntax highlighting, right on the device. (I'd love a more efficient & advanced request viewer UI on iPad, though.) And, dear the app devs, please try to solicit app ratings! You don't deserve this low 3.4 star app rating. It undersells your fantastic product.
SURGE 3 doesn't decrypt ssl/HTTPS

Thanks for ur hard working but somehow surge3 it doesn't decrypt https protocols, i don't know why? Can u help me :(

Great tool, but can be better. UDP multicast discovery not work while the app running; recently requests search filter can be more friendly; Better advanced documentation for developers;
