  • THANK YOU!

    By meriqots (Pcmac user)

...for this app. I’ve tried all kinds of fancy writing software and this is really just what I needed. I use it on my iPad with a small Bluetooth keyboard to transcribe and create new notes and quickly sync them to Dropbox. My only trouble has been that when I navigate between multiple files too many times, the app slows to a crawl and I have to reboot it. It hasn’t been losing any of my edits so it’s not a big deal, but I do a lot of hopping around between files so maybe it could be strengthened in this respect. Really fab overall.
  • Love it!

I love the ability to browse and access plain-text files from almost any source! I'm a big user of Dropbox and I have it locked with Face ID on my XS Max iPhone and although other apps don't have a problem with accessing Dropbox, TapEdit says: "Passcode Lock is Enabled... Files cannot be used with a passcode. If you would like to use Files, please open Dropbox and disable Passcode Lock." I can't disable my Dropbox security, maybe there's some other way TapEdit could access Dropbox like the other apps do?
  • Convenient and Easily The Best!

    By T.J- X (Pcmac user)

I tried my best to find free text editing apps, but I didn’t find much. My main issue with most was that they made duplicates of the files I want to save normally in OneDrive and open on another computer. Thankfully, this one doesn’t have that issue. This one is easily the most convenient text-editor all I’ve used so far.
  • Excellent App.

I’m a big fan of TextRobo. It has simplicity such that it does not get in the way of productivity with bloated features. However, it does have what I think are the essentials — cloud syncing, reliability, etc. Worth it to get some extra themes in the mix as well. I think it’s important to support the strong work of the app developer, Reo.
