A fun little mystery game

An enjoyable basic the app game where you examine pictures to try to find clues to solve a crime. It is free and offers a lot of mysteries although the adds do get annoying. The only two drawbacks are that 1) although I am playing on an ipad the game is the size of an iphone screen and there seems to be no way to make it bigger, which is annoying when looking for small clues. And 2) it was clearly developed in another language (probably japanese) and then translated into english and those translations are not always 100% clear. For instance for the first the app, first question I thought they were looking for the culprit, they are not. They want you instead to identify the wound which shows that the person was murdered.

Good idea falls flat

I like the concept but it just falls flat for me. There were several problems with the questions. Some grammatical errors, make it impossible to know what they are asking. Some questions are too vague...for example what makes a suspect confident in his alibi based on a photo? It could be the date in the corner, it could be that it looks like someone is running from a crime in the background, it could be that he is in the photo...no. It’s a gondola that shows he’s in Venice.
Some questions are too obvious...for example in that same picture it tells you that the crime was committed on a certain date, and asks something like how does this photo prove his alibi...duh the date in the corner...that could have been the answer to the last question...
All in all, it seemed like a good concept, but it needs a lot more work before I’m willing to watch ads to play or willing to pay for it.

This game is pretty standard. I do like playing it. I don’t like the fact that you get a few questions about one the app. Sometimes, they don’t even finish the storyline. They’ll ask about the murder weapon, and about the wound, things like that. They won’t conclude the the app. I do really enjoy this game overall.

Although the game was fun at first the “logic” it gives you behind answers isn’t always the only possibility.
In one example the victim was seen lying in a tub that had a hair dryer in it. The comment said that it was murder since she wouldn’t have it near the tub and someone threw it in. But what about suicide? Another piece of evidence was that a man’s underwear was seen in the hamper and if she was taking a bath wouldn’t her clothing be on top? But there are so many explanations including: she threw the clothing somewhere else, when she got in the bath she was alive and the man was there but after he left she killed herself, it’s hers (some women where boxers), etc. plus all of that evidence is circumstantial. Other shorts had some of that faulty logic where other explanations were unexplored
