Install Tokyo Ride app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Tokyo Ride on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Tokyo Ride"

So fun, and designed really well

I downloaded this as I’ve recently started learning Japanese. I’ve been doing it for like four months, so I can read Hiragana and Katakana but I’ve started learning kanji and sentence structure and realized that it takes some time to process Kana when actually reading. This app is helpful as when I’m playing I’m able to read and hear it out loud and instantly have to connect it, combined with actions to match up the syllable and the sound. I haven’t had it for long but it’s really well designed. Plus the app is super cute!!!

Beautiful but not a great way to learn.

The developers are definitely great at making beautiful games. But I didn’t find that it had a great method for learning new words or characters. It was a fun way to review words I already knew with speed time trials and it had a few descriptions of the major tourist attractions of the app. But I am looking for an app that will teach me words and kanji to help me pass the JLPT and I just don’t see this app as being what I need for that. And you have to pay for anything past the kana and numbers.
I recommend the developers to rework the learning aspect of this app or to just make beautiful games because they clearly are capable of that.

Impossibly glitchy
