Walker's Connect for Pc

I got these powered earplugs for the range and they are GREAT at the range. I also got them to take phone calls when in the range. The phone Bluetooth is USLESS! The earbuds amplify the surrounding noise for the caller and you can only hear the phone call on one earbud. Now to the issue I’ve had over 3 pairs of earbuds. I use Wireless earphones and ear muffs to drown out the noise of my lawn equipment. I figured that it would be nice to just have earbuds to accomplish this for me. The three pairs I have gotten from the app, while listening to music the right earbud cuts out intermittently for anywhere from ½ a second to 10 seconds. I can’t even get through a 4 minute sone without this happening more than once in that time frame. In conclusion, don’t waste your money on the Bluetooth earbuds, they are simply not what you will expect from them and the the app app is so biggie and just garbage. You can accomplish all the functions by pressing to buttons on the earbuds. I hope this helps. By the way, I use these with an iPhone X and have also tested them and got the same results on my iPhone 7s plus.

I downloaded the Walker’s Connect app to use with their Silencer BT earbuds. The ‘buds work excellent, the app, not so. With the left and right volume linked together the app will allow them to unlink, adjust separately, then link again in a flash. Then the left and right volumes stay at different levels until you unlink them adjust them and re-link them. Three times I’ve had Bluetooth pairing problems with the phone. One ‘bud will pair and the other will get stuck in a no-stop pair/unpair cycle. It works fine for days then it screws up. Solution: delete/reinstall the app. There are icons covering up the sleep buttons at the bottom of the app screen. Solution: Get rid of those icons, not everyone uses Instagram and Facebook. Stop trying to be helpful; if someone can’t live without Instagram and Facebook let them figure out how to get on their apps, meanwhile you’ve made functions on you’re own app useless. With the sleep mode set to “off” I’ve had the app suddenly say it was going to put the right ‘bud to sleep. Really? One or both battery level meters gets frozen on a number even though the ‘bud batteries are run down and recharged. Solution: delete/reinstall the app. This app seems to be fragile and wonky.

Have an iPhone 7. Took me a little bit to get the app to connect to them. Paired them to phone and would open app and hit connect and it wouldn’t do nothing. Had to go to settings turn off Bluetooth and then turn it back on and make sure earbuds was first thing to connect to phone on Bluetooth and then go back to the app and hit connect and the app finally connected. Great earbuds. Use them when I go hunting and at work to listen to music.

I get in order to allow this crap app to work you must pair the ear buds to your phone that you are listening to music through at this very moment via the bluetooth paired device I am already connected too! Iphone 7 plus. Other than the app being useless waste of time I like these little units. Lot of pings, static and interference though. Kinda of a washing waves background noise on left unit. Music sounds good. Phone calls ok. Beeps for volume change etc on call super loud! Unnecessarily loud. What the hell. Makes me not want to change volume. Even when down low on call beep it rocking. As far as I can tell these should be good for hours of firearms training. I shall see.
