What is Pyto IDE?

Pyto is a Python 3.10 IDE that can be used on iPhone and iPad. It allows users to run code directly on their device and offline. The app also provides a terminal with UNIX commands, smart code completion, and the ability to set breakpoints on scripts. Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Pyto IDE"
The search will reveal the Pyto IDE app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Pyto IDE is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Pyto IDE.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »

Pandas_datareader, NumPy and Matplotlib can be installed! the app is the best python app for ios, ipados, and iPhone available! I can program python 3.7 as is without learning workarounds like I had to do with pythonista. Every question I had was quickly responded to by the app support. Best app purchase I have made! Well worth the price. Thanks the app for all of your hard work to bring python to the iPhone and iPad! Others said it couldn’t be done. You proved them wrong!

Updated Review: When I first used the app, it would not run even the most simple script. A day later, there was an update, so I gave it a second try. I immediately saw the difference. When you first start the app, the interpreter starts up and tells you the version of python installed (the usual), something that did not happen the first time. I was able to run scripts using NumPy and pandas without any issues. The interface could still use some work though, other than that it is a great app. Initial Review: This app cannot even run a simple python script: print(‘does this even work?’), let alone be used with pandas or NumPy. Plus, the GUI is also very, very basic. Don’t waste your money.

The user experience is a bit confusing and not that clear. I like the functionality though but needs some time too figure out where to do what and what is available and what is not. I bought this as part of the package, the price is good but the user experience needs re-thinking.
