This is an amazing app! I would’ve already rated it 5 stars before I even found out about the measure mode! And I really like how it has the syllables next to each line. The way it colors rhymes is a really nice touch, and the search bar has helped me so much! I’ve even used it countless times unrelated to the song I’m writing because it’s so much easier than looking the stuff up! My only problem is that it sometimes freezes for a few seconds (but whatever I type while it’s frozen still shows up). Another thing that could be improved on (but doesn’t really matter much) is that it doesn’t know the syllables of numbers. That does make sense, I imagine it would be incredibly tedious and time-consuming to program every number. Plus, it’s impossible to predict how someone will pronounce the numbers (ex: 695=six ninety five/ six nine five). Overall, this app is AMAZING. It’s got everything a songwriter/poet could want! Edit: I got a new phone and the app won’t open. There’s about a 100% chance that the tens of hours of work I put into this app are gone, and when I open it it only shows me the beginning animation of the pen scribbling a line before closing and going back to the home screen. The most devastating part is that I can’t use the app anymore, because I need it more than ever right now. Still 5 stars; I loved this app while I could use it...

I’m a retired high school and community college English instructor who writes poetry in his spare time. I’ve tried several poetry writing apps for ios, but none of them really helped that much. Short of using AI to perform auto-scansion of verses, this app, presently, is about as good as it gets, and the cost is quite reasonable. I recommend it to friends, associates, and former students. Though I have found better rhyming dictionaries and thesauri out there, I use this app because of its features, dependability, and convenience. It never gets in one’s way, its UI is easy to learn, its visual appearance is spare and appealing, its saving and syncing facilities seem reliable, and it has some nice customization options, including a dark theme. Thanks to the developers for an innovative and useful product.

I have been making this song for a while and the lyrics were okay and it was awesome how i could look for rhymes if I couldn’t think of anythong and now i recorded the song and i LOVE IT AND my friends and family are loving this app cause they are poets like me and im sending it on social media and telling them how good the app is and they downloaded the app and agreed and we made a song with a beat that was 5 minutes and our parts were 8 bars and i never knew how too count bars and now i can perfectly do it with no distractions and bugs or Any other problems and I love it cause it works and is better then all of the other ones 🙏🏽🙏🏽😁😁😁

This app is really good. When ever I right things down on paper, I always lose it. Whenever I have a song the app idea, I will grab my phone and type it in. The app shows matching words,which are color coordinated. You can also look up rhyming words. The app has a metronome, which works but not is a little annoying to deal with sometimes. You can organize your songs/poems into folders which it useful when you need organization. The folders are a little confusing. One of the options will take you to a helpful video explaining the app.
