Not sure where to begin with this headache of an app. Firstly, the verification process was painstaking and bizarre. From the constant requests for documentation uploads (which would often only succeed after several attempts), to requests for my birth city. And once it seemed that I finally got my account verified after over a week of back and forth with customer support, I wasn’t able to make any deposits. Which brings me to my second complaint. After finally making a deposit, the app only allowed me to place certain bets using bonus money - which is different from the real money I thought I had successfully deposited. But nope, my real money was nowhere to be found and instead I was restricted on my wagers because for some reason I only had this bonus money available. Tried looking through FAQs to better understand why I couldn’t use the money I deposited but couldn’t find any answer. Now I have all this bonus money sitting in my account that I can only do so much with. Who’s to say if I will even be able to cash out without any issues at this point. Thought I could trust the MGM brand to make a quality sports book app, but sadly that’s not the case. I just downloaded a different sports book that literally took just a few minutes to complete the sign up process. Can’t believe I wasted all this time with MGM in the first place.

This app and site is horrible. I am going to repeat all the same problems everyone else has. The app tells me I am not in NJ every time I try to place a bet. There is not a Check Location feature on this app. Navigating app is very very very slow. A $25 no deposit bonus MGM advertises is only for casino bets even though my sports gambling account displays $25. And last and also worst is the customer service. The help chat is brutal. Took me 6 tries to get an answer to my problems. I would give ZERO STARS if I could. Try other apps like draftkings, pointsbet, william hill or fanduel.

With this latest update, pretty much everything about this app improved. The app is smoother and easier to use, payouts are faster, and there are a ton of new features. This is the best sports betting app in New Jersey right now, just hoping they can back it up with good customer service and competitive odds.
