Very Fun, Couple of Issues
By Mongobert (Pcmac user)
(UpdateD). Overall, this is a great game. Fun. Entertaining. Great graphics. Free. You do have the opportunity to spend money to purchase goodies (new mechs, new weapons, etc.), and as a nod to the developers, I did so. I don’t mind people making an honest dollar off of their effort, and this developer deserves a payday. They are responsive and updates come rapid fire. Spawning mechanic is suckish. You can be in a heated battle with one or more opposing mechs and an AI the app will invariably spawn directly behind you, putting you and in the crossfire and scrapping your the app. This doesn’t seem to be a glitch but rather is a feature, intentionally put there by the developer, since it happens multiple times in every match. Lesson: watch your back.
Early stages are fun. Matchmaking is mostly fair (level 1 players don’t take the field against level 20+), and you CAN play with no cost. Download it and enjoy blasting other players to pinwheeling chunks of debris. Spend a few bucks for goodies (in support of the developers). Just watch your back…the AIs will be spawning on your 6…constantly.

A Wonderful FPP/TPP Mech Shooter
By MaceVonOwl1 (Pcmac user)
This has been the first time that I’ve really been motivated to write a review for a game, but I think it’s necessary. This app provides a fantastic blend of quick action with strategic point-capture. In my humble opinion the AI need a slight nerf, as their aim is perfect 100% of the time. As I enjoy using light robots and running around my opponent, I find this frustrating. The only other thing I find frustrating is the unguided rockets having full aim support. Due to the fact they have a slow traverse speed, they are ineffective on moving targets. A change I would recommend to this would be vertical aim support only. However, I will say that these are a drawback to an otherwise fantastic game! I could see this app going on for years to come. My thanks to the Dev crew on keeping this thing up and running and to the ever-growing player base that has helped me understand and grow in this game!

All Atlas & Zerk hangers kind of ruins it
By Eigenbrotler (Pcmac user)
Edit: everyone just plays with the same the app and it’s starting to not be about fun anymore. I still like the game and play it everyday but just one or 2 game because I can’t go a round without someone being stationary with 5 of the same mechs with the same weapon layout..it’s just idk man. If the devs see this review what do you guys think about making it to where you can’t have multiple of the same the app?
I’ve been a long time player of War Robots way before they got bought out and was very disappointed with their constant changes and pay2win gig and stopped playing since October 2017. THIS GAME!! this app!! Has won me over a million times! It gives me that nostalgia feeling but with something new and fast paced. The graphics are good and they give us the option for better performance or visuals and it doesn’t drain my battery or make it hot after long hours or play (or at least as hot as WR did during a single game). I don’t know what else to say I’ve had played this game every chance I get, the only thing I would recommend they had is a lock on and that’s bout it.

Good alternative to War Robots
By To Arms! (Pcmac user)
The best part is you can play and be competitive for free. Way better balancing than WR. It is a bit primitive compared to some other games. They have been making steady improvements and the devs will talk to you about issues etc. However they do have some problems to fix, some I’ve brought to there attention. Things like lag and being frozen or cant move. I have seen other people have this problem in battle too. Another is when in the view mode that allows peripheral view, if you back up sometimes all you can see is the back of your bot, or if you get close to a wall etc. all you can see is the other side of that wall etc. Also to often when a bot is destroyed it doesn’t leave an energy cell. The first two problems can be significant when battling and really still need to be fixed.
Overall is this is a fun game with greater potential. It is a good alternative to the exceptionally greedy War Robots! Thanks to the devs here!
