1. You choose the threshold height for your favorite activity - kayaking, clam digging, etc., and Tyde will display the times when the tide will cross that threshold, so you know when it is best to begin or end the activity.
2. Tyde uses the entire screen to display the tidal waveform, and puts the numbers you want to see directly on the tidal waveform.
3. If Tyde is in real time mode, it will continuously update and show you the current tide.
4. Other tide apps simply download and display a static 24 hour graph.
5. The tide is displayed as an infinite wave that can be zoomed in or out, and panned forwards or backwards in time.
