Software Features and Description

1. You can set alarm tones like glass breaking, angry cats fighting, someone banging your doors, Devil dog (you have to hear it to know what it is), a girl screaming no, and an assortment of outrageous and revolting sounds that aren't exactly pleasant to hear first thing in the morning, but definitely do the job of waking you up, out of your wits sometimes.

2. Aside from having the usual clock functions like setting time, timers and counters, for the main alarm function, Odd Alarm allows you to set custom sounds that are really disturbing.

3. Are you in the habit of snoozing your alarm multiple times? No matter with how great a resolve you go to the bed the previous night, in the morning, you run late because you snooze your alarm multiple times.

4. The only alarm clock you are ever going to need to wake up in the morning.

5. It is a complete alarm clock with the only difference that it comes with a slew of highly disturbing ring tones and alarm tones to jolt you out of your slumber.

6. Although Odd Alarm allows you to snooze the alarm, there is also a complicated routine if you want to turn off the alarm.

7. You will need to chase the morning sun to turn off the alarm.

8. The app comes with all the necessary functions to make your alarm clock as purposeful as possible.

9. You can set an assortment of crazy alarm sounds, for example, you can set an alarm that sounds like a dog about to puke.

10. Then you must try Odd Alarm – an alarm mobile app for those who are fed up of their habit of oversleeping and want a solution once and for all.

11. As you can make it by now, the purpose of Odd Alarm isn't to wake you up gently and pleasantly.

  • Frustrating in every way

    By Barefoot&Bedhead (Pcmac user)

I’m a very deep sleeper and when I read about an alarm that allowed you to choose sounds most people would find jarring, I had to have it. Unfortunately it was frustrating in every way. It only comes with two sounds unlocked, the rest are in-app purchases, and I wasn’t even able to preview any them first. Once I had my first alarm set up I went to set up my second and found that OddAlarm has a one-alarm limit. The next morning my alarm went off, a sunshine zig-zagging across the screen. I pushed stop. The noise did not stop. I traced the sun with my finger. Nope. I’ve only just worked out that you’re supposed to drag the stop button into the sun. I used it for a few more days and slept straight through breaking glass and screaming women, neither of which were loud enough to rouse me. It’s a good concept but it needs a lot of work. If I’m going to have to spend 99 cents to have sound effects wake me up, I’d rather just spend it in iTunes. At least then I’ll get a preview.
  • Odd sounds from app?

    By Zeles (Pcmac user)

Ran across a review online for this app and was intrigued. I tend to get used to my alarms and then start ignoring them, so unusual alarms seemed like a great idea. Bit disappointed at only having three, but for a free app I couldn’t knock it. And cats fighting was hard to ignore. Until I started going crazy. My house is fairly quiet. Suddenly right near my bed I started hearing a rhythmic ticking sound. Sounded a little too mechanical to be a drip. But very steady. Walked all around the bedroom. Could only hear it near where I slept. Checked the other side of the wall. Nothing. Checked every appliance nothing. I’ve been looking for days and couldn’t find the source. Tonight I started picking up stuff on my nightstand. Lastly my phone. My locked phone was making the rhythmic ticking. Unlocked it and started killing apps and it stopped. Turns out this app, while in the background, is constantly making noise. Guess you wake up better when you can’t get to sleep?
  • Very nice alarm sounds. Thank you!

I think it's a really good app it's funny to wake up to such weird noises! I used to just wake up to those ringtones that are so old this thing has changed my mornings they make me so much happier in the morning to go to school so I think this app is really good and they should make more like it
  • Keep it up. Highly recommended

    By Dismosan___ (Pcmac user)

Many different alarms to choose from. I definitely recommend this to everyone! 😊I would like to know how to set it so I can hit the snooze a few times without totally turning it off. I like to gradually get out of bed lol. Any help would be appreciated
