What is Doodle Alive?
Doodle Alive is an app that allows users to create animations from their own drawings in just three simple steps. Users can draw a character, tap the Magic Wand to make it come alive, and then drag the character along the path they want it to move. The app is designed to bring a sense of fairy tale magic to users of all ages.

- Drawing tools: The app offers 25 colors, thick and thin lines, an eraser, and a quick erase feature.
- Magic tools: Users can tap the Magic Wand to make their drawing come alive and move around. They can also drag moveable drawings onto the Magic Hat to remove them.
- Background tools: Users can fix their current drawing to the background to avoid it being moved by the Magic Wand. They can also clear the background drawing.
- Animation feature: Users can drag moveable drawings and the app will automatically record the path. When released, the drawings will move and follow the path.
- Other features: The app allows users to clear everything at once, move multiple drawing objects with multi-touch support, record video, and capture still images.
- Classroom friendly: Doodle Alive is designed with classroom friendliness in mind. The color pens are numbered, and the app offers direct, single layer functions to allow students to concentrate on creativity or teachers' instructions.
- Remarks: Once a drawing is converted to a moving or background drawing, it cannot be edited with the drawing tools again.
- Tips: Users can tap once on any moveable drawing to stop it from moving. If they want to move a drawing to another place rather than animating it, they can tap once immediately after moving and releasing the drawing.
- Troubleshooting: If users cannot draw anything, they should check that they are not selecting the eraser. There may also be a moving drawing with a large transparent space occupying the drawing area, which can be removed by dragging it onto the Magic Hat.
