1. Go directly to the main check in page, allow Sport Clips to find your location (or enter your zip code), and select your preferred store from the map, then click the “check in” button.

2. After you check in, you'll receive an approximate time for your haircut so you can wait where you want before you head to the store.

3. - Online Check In - view current wait times for your nearest Sport Clips store.

4. After you complete the check in process, you’ll be given an approximate time to arrive at the store.

5. If you don’t see your name, be sure to ask for a Stylist to verify your online check in and make sure you’re officially in line.

6. Sport Clips' Online Check In lets you "Get in line, online" for your next haircut.

7. Once you arrive, check the wallboard mounted near the front counter and look for your name (first name, last initial) and let us know you have arrived by quickly checking in at the check in kiosk – or let the team members know that you have arrived.

8. - Save your favorite store and stylist to save you even more time when you check in.

9. The first time you check in online, you will be asked to create an account.

10. - Receive haircut notification reminders, just set your preferred visit frequency and we will remind you when it's time for your next MVP Haircut.

11. - Guest Only Check In - Check in for someone other than yourself (ex: child).

Stylist at Sport Clips Myself

As a stylist who works for the app Clips myself, the idea of the app is helpful, it’s not 100% quite yet but it does work and it is helpful. Sometimes it will give you wrong wait times (not by much) or sometimes it won’t let you check in, but feel free to give us your feedback and we can let our owners know! I love how it especially gives you wait times for specific stylists but it won’t let you choose that stylist if they have over a two hour wait time (which is fair because our stylists need time to breathe!) also, if your stylist does not get their until a later time it will NOT let you check in with them until they clock in, your best bet is to walk in about 15 min before that time they are scheduled and say you want that specific stylist and the stylist should assist you and you should be in no time :) Has a few kinks, but don’t worry.

This app is terrible. I have it a 2 star rating because the tech works properly but as far as cutting down on your wait time it’s BS because as I write this I check in to the store on 96th street in Indianapolis and have been waiting 45 minutes since “my stylist was ready” according to this app. On top of that somehow there are still another two people in front of me and the hair stylists are just shooting the breeze with each other. No sense of customer care or efficiency here. It’s Saturday and this stupid needs to work on their staffing. There are three people with one training. They should probably run training days when it’s not the busiest day and time of the week. Just some feedback from an upset customer who likely won’t be back.

This app is a good idea, but has a major flaw. Today I checked in at 3:20 PM with a wait time is 45 minutes for my stylist. I went and confirmed that I was checked in and waiting for my stylist to be done. It said I hadOne minute but after waiting several minutes it bumped me up to 30 minute wait! That is simply not acceptable. You can’t have an app that lets you check in for a certain time. And then put someone else in front else that person and push their wait time back so far. There is a reason that people use the app to check And that reason is to skip going all the way to the store to check in and then have to come back again later. It was very annoying as I don’t have much time during the week to get a haircut. Please fix this!

It’s really annoying that you cant schedule appointments for future dates. Even as simple as the store is opening at 9AM here but it’s 8:30AM. I can’t see who is working to see if I want to schedule my appointment or not. I realize that this issue is the epitome of White People Problems.. but I’ve run into this issue so many times that it has become ridiculous. In the same fashion, if I called into Sports Clips it should be just as easy to schedule an appointment instead of being told I need to download the app. I wouldn’t care if it was with an automated system.. but for a company as developed as you are. You would think you would focus on making things easier for the customers instead of centered around what works for you.
