  • subscription payments knocks off two stars

    By DomUsesApps (Pcmac user)

I am debating purchasing this app, I don’t mind the upgrade to get all drinks but I don’t think that it’s worth an annual subscription to track water intake. I know I can cancel but it’s unclear if I will still have access if I cancel before the period is up. Either way, the subscription is probably going to be a deal breaker for me because I just want a simple water tracker and ongoing subscriptions are good for supporting new features not just so the devs hav a revenue stream. Without new features there is no ongoing value to continue paying for. On the other hand, adding new features would ruin this app as it’s great the way it is. I would probably stop using it if it lost the ease and simplicity due to unnecessary (and unwanted) features. So devs stop being greedy with the subscription and you will probably get more paying users as well as those two extra stars from me. I know it’s not expensive but I prefer to pay once for the app apps and be done with it.
  • Helpful, but limited

    By aisforambition (Pcmac user)

Okay, so 2019 hits and I’m assuming a lot of folks are going through the ‘new year, new me’ phase of things, but I’ve been working toward healthier living for the past year and a half. So, I decided to get (and inevitably do a lifetime purchase) of this app. Overall, I like the concept, design and simplicity. The only downside is the accuracy at which I can log the app fluid/ water intake. For example, when I have brothy soup or a protein shake, there is no way for me to select or list what it is I am consuming and how that might adjust this app intake. Recommendations: 1) create a drink selection for “other” and/or 2) the ability to add notes; with 3) a way to time stamp logs throughout the date - adjustable of course. Thanks!
  • Not worth the price

    By Glitter616 (Pcmac user)

The interface of this app is cool. And all the features are pretty helpful. It’s easy to use and not overly complicated. But it’s a water app. It tracks liquid intake and keeps track of past liquids. $20/three months, $60/year or $80 lifetime is simply not worth it. It’s not that complicated of an app to pay $80 for it. There are apps on the market that have all the same features and are $0-$20 for lifetime access. I did appreciate that they at least offer the 7 day free trial so you can see how you feel about it. Just not worth the cost in the app opinion.
  • Premium paid for but app did not update

    By FlipFlopTeach (Pcmac user)

I have now paid for a second quarter and the app app still has not updated to indicate that it was paid for. I basically wasted money on an app I was enjoying during the app free trial. I’ve sent two messages (one just now) with no response. Great app until the free trial expires, then it’s useless if it doesn’t update you when you pay for a subscription. Very frustrated! Would love a refund for at least one quarter pleas and somehow update the app account so I can use all the features since the quarter just started in July 8th
