What's Cooking? - Tasty Chef is a cooking game app that allows players to become a master chef by cooking and discovering over 1000 recipes. The game starts with an amateur cook with a small kitchen, and as the player progresses, they can customize their restaurant, upgrade their kitchen, and improve their skills to become the world's greatest master chef. The app also features a market where players can play mini-games to get common, rare, or epic ingredients to cook their diners' favorite dishes.

Game Features and Description

1. Tie your apron and sharpen your knives – it’s time for a crazy cooking adventure in WHAT'S COOKING? - Tasty Chef! Starting as an amateur cook with a small kitchen, you’ll combine ingredients to create over 1000 recipes and serve delicious dishes to hungry customers.

2. With so many combinations available, there are over 1000 amazing dishes to discover! Have fun to combine ingredients and discovering brand new dishes to serve to your hungry restaurant diners.

3. Part of any chef’s job is to find the highest quality ingredients available! To cook the best dishes you’ll have to visit the market.

4. As you level up your chef you’ll unlock delicious new recipes and ingredients to find at the market.

5. Level up your chef by earning EXP and cooking some amazing food in your bistro, or invest some coins in training.

6. But there’s a catch - you’ll have to win your ingredients in a card game.

Absolutely adorable

This is the first time I’m actually writing a review because I have positive things to say about a phone game. This game has such adorable, yet simple graphics. It’s engaging and doesn’t fall into the same trap of having incredibly long and boring wait times for dishes to cook. Not to mention I like how we’re gradually given new recipes to cook for new and existing equipment over time. I also really like how the little dog isn’t just or advertisements by can also give real additional benefits to the player not to mention how cute they are! (working towards getting mocha right now). My only suggestion would be to add in maybe one or two more triggered events to shake thing up a little. Like I really enjoy the pick one out of three event but other than that I’ve only seen the one where you can vlog with the food critic. I think giving the chef raisin and Alfredo am event like that would only make the game that much more entertaining.

This is such a charming game. Cute graphics, new things to do/try out pretty frequently as well. While cooking dishes does rely on chance with can be disappointing when the wrong result comes out, it usually counts to another goal. At the very least the time to cook isn’t too long so it’s no sweat to just try again! There are plenty of opportunities to watch ads, but not so much that I’m annoyed by it. The game is also super generous with in game currency, especially of the type you might have to purchase. While I certainly could see myself wanting to, I don’t feel like I have to pay to win or even play the game unlike so many other phone games. I love the card matching to gain ingredients. While it’s tougher than the traditional matching, it’s far more fun, and is a nice mental challenge without being too hard. 10/10 would play again and again. Cannot recommend enough!

I really like this game. It popped up on my Instagram as an add haha. It’s very simple and cute and I don’t mind waiting out the later cooking times cause then I can cook a couple things while I’m at work. Like everyone says you might feel like you need to watch a ton of adds, which is beneficial for certain things in the game however, it’s really not a requirement. I play the adds, set down my phone for 25 seconds and blam, ticket, gem or magic powder. The devs are also super generous on rewards during challenges and festivals. This is one of those play with patience games where the further you get you have explosive little moments of playtime and then it’s back to waiting for things to cook.... which is totally fine. Love this game, recommend it for people who like this casual style of gameplay and the art and music is super cute. 5 stars baby.

This game is great! The biggest complaint I tend to see is about the marketplace. Once you get the hang of it and know the patterns it becomes very difficult NOT to get at least one ingredient. The market place also has a low energy reset timer so it’s hard not to always be stocked up. Also someone said you HAVE to watch ads. That is a lie. Watching ads can give you tickets, magic powder, and more tries in the marketplace but is not required. The developers are tremendously generous with regards to the tickets, gems, and times compared to other games. The oven timer is 4 hours but there is an option to upgrade it and reduce the time with coins (the regular earned currency). I do wish in the future there will be events with exclusive content and perhaps cooking guild or some other multiplayer aspect. Anyways great game and keep up the good work!!!
