What is HN Pro? HN Pro is a mobile app that provides a classic and simple interface for browsing Hacker News. It offers all the features of the web app, including the ability to browse stories, reply to comments, upvote, hide, collapse threads, and access all the lists. The app also has a dark mode and allows users to carry over their preferences from the web browser if they log in with their account.
1. If you login with your account, any threads you collapse or stories you hide carry over to your web browser (and vice versa).
2. Browse your stories, reply to comments, upvote, hide, collapse threads, the list goes on.
3. Access to all of the lists? Check (including /news, /show, /shownew, /ask, /best, /active, /newest, /classic, and /noobstories).
4. If you've learned to love that classic orange and beige and want everything to just "work" like the web app, you've come to the right place.
5. Do everything that you might want to do using your web browser, right in the palm of your hand.
6. If you want splashy animations and an unnecessary coat of paint, HN Pro may not be for you.
7. Flagging, hiding, upvoting (and "unvoting"?)? Check.
8. HN Pro shows you Hacker News the way it was meant to be.
