  • A Good Gaming Experience

    By Mikuru//X (Pcmac user)

I’ll be honest, I totally forgot that I pre-ordered this game but I’m glad it popped into my iPad when it did. From the game icon alone, I knew I was going into a game with a few jump scares but then I started playing and got threw off right at the start thinking this was a simple run and jump platformer. That’s until I made it to the end of level one and found that this game has an actual story. From this point, things started to get weirder and grimmer. At this point, I started felt myself getting nervous because I can’t take games with jump scares but I try them to try and get over my fear. The levels started to get harder and later, the puzzles started to kick in. Things start to get much weirder but scary after level 2. By then, I really felt like I should stop playing cause my heart couldn’t take getting scared but curiosity kicks in and the game compels you to move on to see where this all ends. From start to finish, the game is a enjoyable ride with a unexpected twist in stored for the player which I won’t spoil. From the level design to the music, everything is a memorable little experience that is worth the price tag for the locked three levels. If you have $1 to blow, I recommend you get this game.
  • Passed My Expectation

    By Typoerror awesome (Pcmac user)

To be completely honest I really thought the game was going to be extremely concise with most of its story. The game surprisingly had a good pace of progression, keeping me interested in the level design and the compelling story. I’ve also developed an aquatinted feeling towards Yanna and the Developer, making the experience something worth while. Some parts really got me at first but somehow this game taught me patience is key. I highly recommend anyone reading this to play the game, it has simple controls, a compelling story, and some spook! (A little something for the developer... I was so interested with the game I decided to check out your other games, I’m yet to play it but I’ve noticed there weren’t many reviews. I’m so glad to see this game was completely successful. I felt as if some of the story being told in the game was also reflecting off of what’s happening in real life. Such as your dreams probably being crushed because of some game breaking bug. I’d probs have to check on your other games to be sure but I’m glad this is very successful! Keep making games and thank you for this experience.)
  • Unbeatable level?

    By Oreoshik (Pcmac user)

Hello! I love this game, I haven’t played the first one tho. I made it passed Limbo and I am at the Deep. I like the puzzles when sliding Knightly across the 2D map. I made to the boss I think, but the exit to that area is blocked off, I tried everything. I tried getting the projectiles to hit the blockade, I tried dying next to the exit, I tried just waiting it out while avoiding the projectiles, I tried killing the enemy, I tried pausing, I tried sliding into the exit repeatedly, I tried breaking the projectiles, I tried sliding into the boss, I tried closing the game and reopening, I tried going to the home screen and looking in the in game settings, I tried looking in my phone settings, I tried tapping on the blocked exit, I tried finding a secret exit, I even tried to rotate my phone every which way thinking I can get my bullets to hit the exit, I TRIED EVERYTHING IMAGINABLE. I’m guessing I just have to try to keep killing the boss, but the projectiles are impossible and she floats to the sides of the area. Idk what to do I could look up a walkthrough, but I’m trying to finish on my own. The rest of the game was pretty easy I had some trouble with some areas, but just needed some time to learn the patterns. I would love to see the end, but until I finish the game the 5 stars will have to wait, I’ll keep trying but I have been for 5 hours straight.
  • Adequately unsettling and Difficult

    By Leichang (Pcmac user)

I was really hooked into the premise of the game so much that I went back and played some of the prequels as to further understand the story and see how the development was going. There were some parts of certain levels that would consistently stop me from moving and the story is ok, the 3D anime models were somewhat jarring but not in a horror sense, it was more like an out of place fruit like seeing an orange among apples, I get that might have been intentional but it would have been better for me if the 3D models were pixelated like how Kara and the nun was in the first game. Like the part where you get in a boss fight with Yanna and how she floats around like the logos on tvs when they’re on idle mode was really cheesy. Other than that though I did like the level difficulties and the atmosphere kept me on my toes for most of it. There was only one part where I didn’t know what to do and there was really no indication for me on how to progress but I only got through by randomly hitting the pause button. Overall while it may seem like the cons outweigh the pros by many I still really enjoyed the game from start to finish and would definitely recommend it. I am very interested in the next games Darius produces.
