Download and install the TBR - Image && Video Viewer app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using TBR on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "TBR"
- The search will reveal the TBR - Image && Video Viewer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once TBR is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including TBR.
- Now enjoy TBR on PC.
- Using TBR on Mac OS:
Install TBR - Image && Video Viewer on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.
How to download and use TBR App on Windows 11
To get TBR on Windows 11, check if there's a native TBR Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing TBR:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "TBR" » Click "Install" to install TBR - Image && Video Viewer
- TBR - Image && Video Viewer will now be available on your windows start-menu.

I’m sooooo glad they finnaly have come out with an app version where you can do downloads much easier. I’m a photographer and I’m constantly learning; taking notes from more creative individuals like myself! This allows me to Re-Utilize the platform how I had originally intended on using it. It comes with an EXTREMELY simplistic layout, clean and stream line well done !!! 🙌🏾I look forward to continued updates, as I do see some draw back one being the double tap to like a post. This particular feature I’m going to currently miss, again mainly because I review apps created based on their functionality for what I’m needing and a quick double tap to like a post is a missed feature! That aside I love it thank you!

Sometimes new isn’t better than original

This new version or all together new app I only dowloaded because the original tumblr was deleted by accident from my phone, when I went to reinstall it I found out that this was the only option. I dont like the new app, there is almost nothing on it when you seach for something, the lay out is confusing as it feels more like a bunh of photos thrown together rather than following certain tags for instant etc
Overall not happy with this new version, not understanding why I had to pay for tumblr app now when originally i didnt
Why is the old app gone?!?
Overall just disappointed and sad

This app is a way better way to view tumblr. Granted, you can’t actually reblog any thing but then again that’s not it’s purpose. That however it does great. You can actually watch videos in a great platform view and pictures too. And It’s great that it shows you when you last refreshed so you know how new your content is. Great app overall, Amazing Job!

When the phone app implemented “Recommended Posts” it made the mobile app completely unusable.
7/10 posts were completely irrelevant to anything I was following on tumblr... and it would repeat those same posts over and over.
It’s so nice to have an app that just shows me the newest posts from the tumblrs I follow, no more, no less.
That’s what this app does.
