To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Fan Guru,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Fan Guru" » then Click "Install".
- Fan Guru: Events, Exhibit Hall will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Love the concept, but...

I used this app at this year's MegaCon Orlando event and at first it was so great. It was nice to have the ability for an offline map and schedule (because we all know how bad the connection can get) and even used it to purchase nearly last minute tickets got the BTTF Friday panel. Come Saturday, however, and the app fell apart. That offline map and schedule I thought was so great? Didn't work. Worse yet, the app did nothing but crash. So the one function I was most excited about didn't work when I actually needed it, because the previous two days had no connection issues like Saturday always does. So I'll give it 3 stars and say it's great when it works and I appreciate it better than Megacon's precious apps. But it needs work and I would still recommend using a backup for your schedule and con floor navigation.
Not Ready for Prime Time

There was something charming about Cosmunity, despite it being a bit difficult to navigate & get everything I wanted out of it. Now it seems like the same company was forced to launch early in order to have their new brand promoted for a convention. My old Cosmunity posts are gone. There is no way to check in on communities or posts/photos from other users. There is no search bar to find future events in your area. There is a surprising lack of buttons that can take you anywhere interesting. I keep clicking on the same 3 tabs hoping one will magically unlock the secret to this app. Unless they are The official app for your upcoming convention I don’t see any benefit with this app right now.
Nifty little app...but

It's still pretty hard to Navigate through the app unless you're really used to working with it. Also, not being able to DM someone w/o them following you is a bit of a pain. And the no notifications either on lock screen or on on app itself is hard to keep track of some important correspondence.

omg i love this app! i went to stranger con this past weekend and i used this app to help with my schedule and it was the most helpful thing ever!! it let me know 30 mins in advice before the next event started to prepare me!!! love it!! would definitely use again:)))
