  • Same as the rest of this series

    By Nothingsmurf (Pcmac user)

So I guess we’re down to one game a week now. No new game this morning. Very disappointing. Maybe with a stroke of luck new mngt will take over at big fish and get things running smoothly again. Maybe my review will actually be posted this time to which seems hit and miss lately. Come on big fish! Same as the rest of this series with a few improvements. I’d like to point out that changing Richard’s voice, Anna’s dad, was a welcome change not bad like another reviewer said. Before it was long and drawn out and just painful to listen to so thanks for speeding that up! Same usual perks as we expect with teleporting map etc. guess I’m a little bored with this series. The first 3 were incredible and put elephant games at the top of my list but from that point they got shorter and shorter and less interesting to me. this app: the legacy was the bomb, long and captivating story. I like more adventure and not a puzzle every 3steps but that’s a personal thing. I’m still considering buying. Maybe it gets better? Big fish has been increasingly failing us with less new releases and sales on games we’ve already played so if there’s no new release then maybe I’ll buy it, not sure. FYI..absolutist just released a new one. It’s different, ok.
  • Super short!

By Really? All the names taken? (Pcmac user)

This is my favorite series. Unfortunately, it is appallingly brief, with almost no story or goals. They also changed the voice actor for Richard, exchanging a deep, spooky voice with an almost high-pitched speaker. Richard is no longer edgy, but accommodating and sweet- an big loss for the series. Anyone know why, even though there are 390 reviews, I can only read 10 of them? I can see my favorite reviewers anymore. Also, anyone know how I can filter out the annoying gambling or stellar games, such as “Can’t Be Die,” when trying to find HOGs by release date? Anyone know why the, “a new game every day” company doesn’t even have a new game twice a week anymore?it used to be related to updating their software, but that’s been a year now. Come on! I think it’s time for me to break my HOG habit...
  • Wow

    By AngilaMahan (Pcmac user)

This is the first game I’ve finished all at once in at least 18 months. Considering I used to buy EVERY Big Fish game as they were released when I first started playing these type of games, that says a lot. Storyline is interesting, graphics are comparable to others in the series as is most other attributes.
  • Not worth $6.99

    By Terface (Pcmac user)

I played the short demo, and refuse to pay $6.99 to unlock the game that is a carbon copy of all the other games. Woman drives down the road; she crashes; she has to perform a ritual; then, go here, solve a puzzle, get an item, go back and use the item, find another lock to get pieces for, find the right tool for each puzzle, get the ghost to give you something, unlock the door, play the HOP, find the morphing objects, find the puzzle pieces, ad infinitum. Blah, blah, blah. None of these games are worth $6.99 EVER. I’ve been playing computer games since 1985, some that took days to finish instead of a few hours. The games have become so cliché!
