Dollared to death

One of the most dissatisfying games I’ve ever played. It’s fun to play—and the developers know it. The meager amount of free play isn’t a big deal until you get up into the level 30-50 range, when the puzzles are hard enough to drain your free plays quickly. You have to pay a dollar to play for longer than a couple of minutes at that point. Otherwise, you can play for about 5-10 minutes and, when you run out of “lives,” wait a half hour to fill them and be able to play again. I know that apps like this are a business—and I don’t mind paying a little here and there. This app is more like a straight rip off. It becomes nearly unplayable if you don’t constantly pump dollars in like a slot machine.

Unplayable without $$$

It’s a fun game, but the levels get too hard very quickly, and you can’t even get past this just by watching ads. Every level uses up all your power ups and then forces you to spend money just to be able continue. There are often traps, such as getting a Q with no U to accompany it, when the puzzle asks you to use every letter in the board, and the dictionary does not accept scrabble-accepted words such as QAT. Not inclined to spend a single dollar, since it’s clear that the game will keep requiring dollar after dollar. Not worth continuing to play.

Too Long To Recharge Lives

This is fun, but takes too long to recharge unless you PURCHASE lives. I got the app this morning, thinking it was one I used to play on my laptop (similar but not the same.). Anyway I ran out of lives after about 20 minutes (which includes the intro instructions); now, 8 hours later I still can’t play because my lives haven’t recharged. Way too many other app games out there so not sure this is a keeper or a bust. If it’s just one you can play 15 minutes once a day, it’s a bust.

When will there be more levels?

I love this game. However, please update quicker with new levels. Seriously, it’s almost September. The last update with new levels was not enough. Also, agree with other reviews, please include a pause button, frustrating to lose lives when necessary to stop for phone calls or other things. Time extensions should cost like, 5 for $0.99.
