What is HiDaddy?

HiDaddy is a mobile application designed for expecting fathers who want to stay informed about their partner's pregnancy and their baby's development. The app provides daily information about the baby's growth and development, as well as insights into the mother's pregnancy experience. HiDaddy offers two versions of notifications, one that is informative and polite, and another that is more lighthearted and humorous. Software Features and Description

1. iTunes Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period with the cost of $7.99 for 3 months or 11.99 for 12 months subscription.

2. Subscription is auto-renewable which means that once purchased it will be auto-renewed every 3 months or 12 months until you cancel it 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

3. Duration of the subscription is 3 Months with a charge of $7.99 every 3 months or 12 months with a charge of $11.99 every 12 months.

4. Manage your Subscription and Auto-Renewal by going to your Account Settings.

5. This App is not intended for medical use, or to replace the advice of a trained medical doctor.

6. The second version of notifications is the version for dads who don’t treat themselves seriously.

7. If you have any concerns about your pregnancy, consult with your doctor or midwife.

My fiancé and I are expecting, and she sent me this app because it is supposed to link with whatever app she was using and give me updates, info and advice on how she’s feeling and what to be expecting. I have learned absolutely nothing. This app is very non-informational if you are looking to learn about your baby and how it is developing. It gives a pre-set and very vague daily “quote” and update of what you should be expecting out of your pregnant significant other that is nowhere near accurate. And the only other feature is a place where it tells you a rough estimate of the size of your child is with a comparison to something like a “fidget spinner” or a “golf ball”. No info of what it should look like or how it’s developing. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. I would expect more out of an app you actually have to pay for.
Horribly Negative Attitude for Expecting Fathers

I’m 33, and my wife is expecting our first child, so instead of buying a ton of books, I decided to get a bunch of apps. I was expecting uplifting, exciting and informative info, but was shocked by the off putting comments within the app. While the app attempts to be cute and clever by having the “baby” tell you what they’re experiencing, they completely disgrace and degrade the entire experience and much of what’s to come. This is a horrible way to prepare Fathers for life with a baby! Comments from different days... (Remember, your beautiful baby that you don’t know or are even bonded to, is already giving you reasons to resent it. ) “Your friends think your extremely boring now.” “Make some new friends...” “When I hit the streets, you ain’t getting any sleep for months.” “I know it’s hard for mom to do her regular exercises, but she really does need to keep herself in shape. Here’s an idea. You two take a yoga class together. It won’t hurt your flabby but either.” Hope this review helps someone!

My wife and I are expecting our first child and in her excitement, she came across the companion “HiMommy” app. That app had very nice messages from “baby” and features that she enjoyed. She referred me to this app (which was not free) and it’s written as if every guy enjoys crude and somewhat demeaning comments. If I could return and get reimbursed for this app, I would.
