Top Pcmac Reviews

  • Great solution to any reloading bench

    By MO_Geekster (Pcmac user)

Not sure about some of the other reviews here; for me, this was real easy to learn and start using. I was up and transferring my most recent load journal records in about 20 minutes. It may be easier for mid-to-veteran reloaders. If you have been the app for 3+ months, you already have established a “system” for record keeping. This app will simplify that without the cramps in the hand. It won’t necessarily “teach” you good record keeping- you gotta kind of know what you’re doing to begin with. Anyway- I love this app and it is exactly what I was looking for. Start with a given recipe (or heck add your own with the +) then fill it in like you would any paper log. The GREAT thing about this app is it ties in the app manual, my custom cost records and easy to enter chrono data in the journal to record performance of a specific recipe. Only thing it needs now is an inventory counter to keep track of rounds loaded vs. rounds expended. THAT would make this a 6 star app for me.
  • Disappointing to say the least.

    By Spoticus47 (Pcmac user)

So I paid the 3.99 for this app thinking it would allow me to track and log my personal loads. It does not do that at all. This is very disappointing to a new re-loader who is trying to use technology to help track my recipes the date I created them and how they performed. I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 because I can see my cost analysis compared to purchasing factory ammo and there are recipes in there that will be helpful. But I wouldn’t waste money on it again. On top of everything else, it is not user friendly at all. Oh well, lesson learned.
  • Reloader Assistant

    By Dgod1950 (Pcmac user)

So far, this App has some serious issues. 1. Any entry of measurement that has a Decimal won’t work as there is no way to enter the decimal value. 2. So far, there is no “Look Up” of data 3. I am asked for Powder Manufacturer, then powder name 4. Powder entries. Bullet Diameter. Bullet weight, at least. do not allow for decimals. How do you enter .452 with no decimal? That’s when I gave up...
  • Almost useless

By Useless. Angry I paid for it. (Pcmac user)

Maybe the instructions are bad. Maybe the app is poorly programmed. Probably both. I have used some very complicated software and this is one of the worst. Nothing makes sense. Nothing is intuitive. And it doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to. I’ve had it for a few weeks and there’s NOTHING of use here- I’m still using an XL spreadsheet (which works perfectly) as a loading journal. I’m mad that I paid for it and can’t use it, and I hate to give up, but I’m about to. Waste of money. Useless.
