Chain Strike™ for Pc

Let me just say that I really LOVE this game. However, there have been multiple bugs that I’ve been experiencing and the most recent has been the update. I’ve been unable to update to the latest version, and every time I start the app up and click update, I’m unable to update it. The APP store simply gives me the option to open the app. Which just goes into circles. Talking about the actual game - I love it so far. The interface is a little crazy at first but it’s quick and easy to learn. The power up and summoning system is awesome and I do enjoy the added ease while summoning to “summon again” while still on the screen instead of having to exit out and start the process again. The plot is enticing, and the characters are interesting. I think the art style and graphics are the best out there at the moment for turn based RPG’s in the App Store. Some RPG’s advertise themselves with certain graphics or art, and end up not even having said graphics in the game. this app is visually appealing and sticks to its style pretty consistently. It’s not too hectic or crazy, but still makes itself stand out amongst the other games in its genre. I really hope they fix the update issue soon - I’m more than happy to write a better review once I can actually get back to playing it.

The game itself is great. The idea of using chess-like mechanics along with turn based combat makes for a very interesting precedent. I can see the strategy becoming more important as I progress to harder levels. Characters are interesting and UI is easy to understand. The only issue I can really be bothered to mention is the quality of the sound. I’m not sure if it is because the game was just released or if there is a separate download for audio files, but the audio (at least sound effects like combat and UI selections) seems like it was made in flash. It is very rough and muffled. It honestly makes the game seem like one of those copy and paste mobile games, which I know Com2us is nothing like (see Summoner’s War). Other than the audio being rough, the game is very well done and the strategy behind it keeps things interesting.

Really nice mechanics in this strategy game that uses some systems that fans of gacha games on iOS will instantly recognize. The graphics are good, the animations feel good and impactful. The variety of abilities is great, and the same can be said for team-building dynamics. Many things are done exactly right! However, pacing is slow compared to many competing games. It is a long and dull grind to gain exp for 5 and 6* characters, and lots of higher difficulty content (such as the new daily dungeons) doesn't offer new or intermediate players any hope of winning. Why include 3 difficulties for daily dungeons if they will all be too hard for an intermediate player? To the devs, please think hard about good ways of allowing players to quickly progress. The biggest draw of this genre of game is being able to see improvements in your team every day without investing a huge amount of time.

Game is outstanding from graphics to chess based tactics. This has been a game I’ve been looking to find for quite some time. Summons are decent and keeps you looking to grind and developers are consistently adding new content. Only draw back I’d say is the auto battle feature that has to be “in game” so it can be very time consuming. Hopefully they implement a auto battle that can be done with out being on the board. Definitely no shortage of energy to play and the daily rewards are worth doing. Clan features can be a little better as of right now thier is little to no involvement with clans/guilds other then a check in for rewards. Game is very easy to pick up on and is very user friendly. If you liked FF tactics or looking for a chess based spin this is definitely the game your looking for.
