SSB Flex is an innovative on-demand mobility service offered by Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG. It complements the public transport service in Stuttgart and allows users to start and end their journey whenever and wherever they want. The app enables users to book a SSB Flex car that will pick them up at a starting point nearby and drop them off at a virtual stop close to their destination. The service uses ridepooling to lower costs and reduce environmental impact. The price of each journey is calculated based on distance and the number of passengers. Users with VVS day tickets or VVS time-tickets receive a discount when using SSB Flex.
