Fun mechanics, but progress stops abruptly

Spent the money to get rid of the ads because the core game is pretty fun; unfortunately, progress in the game came to a halt for me at the 3rd boss, which seemingly will require many more hours of grinding out more powerful zombies. Despite the game having an âauto production/mergeâ feature, this doesnât actually work in the background when you arenât playing the game, which means that youâll be repeating the main gameplay loop in place for a LONG time if you want to make any progress. If the game didnât reek of âpay more to progressâ, this would be a decent title.
TLDR: Fun at first glance; You can get by for a few hours on the 9.99 you pay to disable ads, but get ready to spend more if you want to get past level 200 (of 900) without getting absolutely bored spinning your wheels in place exponentially longer every time you do so.
***Far too much money for what you are able to access in a reasonable time period.

Way, way, way, way too many ads

I wanted to like and to play this game. I like how, unlike most idle games, there is a constant progression without resets.
However, just going to a screen in which you upgrade things often triggers an ad. Finish a level and you might see an ad. Unacceptable.
There are plenty more typical and acceptable ad placements in the game, but they are numerous.
All of this would be fine with me if the lowest cost to remove ads were $10. I would have bought the remove ads option if it were $3 or $5 even. But they priced and annoyed me out of playing and had me leave this 1 star review instead.

Fun until it grinds to a halt

Progression is sooooo slooooooow collecting new zombies once you get into it for a few days. Unlocking new zombies is fun but the auto merging/ auto generating upgrades donât work unless youâre actively using the app. So lame. Iâve been using it to play while trying to fall asleep. It works perfectly for that.
