Top Pcmac Reviews

  • Excellent

    By naqahdah (Pcmac user)

If this app had full-size cards like narwhal or the official app and you could enable auto play of stuff like gifs, it would be my default app hands down. Easily the most attractive reddit app I have used. For me, the way the comments work is perfect. Not only do I get the ‘bubble this app’ thing going, but it seems to cut down on a little of the rabbit hole-esque memery that the comments always revolve into after one or 2 levels of comments.
  • Beautifully simple and smooth but...

    By Okami808 (Pcmac user)

The Ui is so smooth and simple and looks so good however some thing I wish the app had are: 1) the option to toggle auto play for videos and gifs so you don’t have to click a post to watch the video or get redirected to an external site, 2) subreddit heading so I know what subreddit the post is from at a glance. 3) full image cards, again so you can just scroll through content. 4) hide read posts on scroll. Other than that, this client has so much potential. Update: several months later. It seems development has stopped.
  • Good idea, force touch is non existent

    By TheBensonBoy (Pcmac user)

Although I like the app as an idea, there is a big force touch bug that is infuriating to use especially Because that's how your supposed to use the app anyway. When opening the app for the first time, there is a fake subreddit, or is very hard to find, telling you how to use the app. It's just simply not a good client Note, I do have an X and I have seen a couple other apps not be able to do 3D touch inside, so it may be an iOS bug, but other apps allow me to 3D touch so I highly doubt it. Please fix this, I would love to post an unbiased review at one point
  • Good app needs updates

    By YaBoiYan (Pcmac user)

I like how they integrated the force tough but, swiping seems to be pretty left out. Having to press an "X" to get out of the comment is a little unintuitive. I also feel like there needs to be a constant search bar. Having to scroll all the way back up to the top for that is a little annoying.
